This is by no means a kind of surgery or somekind of vocal practice to amplify or project your vocal sound. It’s simply about a place where you can sing your heart out – louder! Guess where? A karaoke place!! called AmpSquare.
Last weekend, after the exciting movie (read about it here), 4 of us went for a special karaoke session, (less than a handful number of karaoke session this year) to have the last bachelorette karaoke session for our friend, Amm. She’s getting married this weekend! Yeay!!! and I’m going to serenade for her and her beloved one, and to her family and friends as well. Cool!

Amp Square Karaoke

Ok, Ampsquare is located inside the Sunway Carnival Shopping mall, Level 3. The standard rate for 4 pax (Happy Hour session on Saturday) is RM17++/pax. With all the drinks, Hi-Tea snacks and tidbits, we paid RM97.45 altogether (RM24.35/pax). Note that this is not our frequent place for karaoking. In fact, this was my second time in AmpSquare. We prefer here because it’s convenient and not so expensive compared to RedBox. Usually we went for the cheapest, and most convenient karaoke place, i.e. RM1.50/song! of course, NO FOOD/DRINKS offered.

Ampsquare offers variety of drinks & Hi-Tea snacks, I chose Honey Lemon Tea & Mango Pudding. Good thing about a slightly expensive karaoke place is, you’re able to change the song’s key @transpose, YES!!! I could sing male’s songs!! ^_^

Too bad, they don’t have the song by Jaclyn Victor, Cinta Tiada Akhirnya. Not an easy song to sing but I would like to try it anyway

To be honest, I seldom go for a karaoke session. Why? Hmmm…good question. I just prefer to sing at home (not karaoke mode) – save everything Not all of the karaoke lyrics are correct, plus most of the songs I like are not listed in their song list.

Anyway, at times it’s good to sing out there for fun ^_^

Just had a movie with friends last weekeed after I was deprived of movie entertainment for quite sometime already. I was hesitate at first…too many things to consider, like I need to blog about this, that, have to do this, that, etc…
Aaee….ermm….hmmm….aaah….mmmm…..

Guess I gave myself a chance – but it turned out to be a great Saturday! A movie and a karaoke session! (I’ll blog about that later) ^_^ It was a fantastic movie indeed. Of course – it’s X-Men First Class!!! Yeay!
I always love to have such powers, sure…not in this world who wouldn’t want it?
Hehe…might be possible to fly at least…in my dream

X-Men First Class: A fantastic action, adventure type of movie to watch!

Now, what can I remember from the 2 hrs 12 minutes movie? It was an unpredictable, and adventurous plot. Basically I LOVE action movies. This movie is 9/10. I was hoping that they can join forces, but that’s the way it is, it should be… If you haven’t watched it yet, I highly suggest you to watch it. Period!

Ok, the mutants – I like the mutant powers of:
Professor X (Charles Xavier) – to read people’s minds, can stop someone or make someone do something, powerful telepathic power

Magneto (Erik Lehnsherr) - his gestures can turn move metals, even if it’s so much bigger than him. If I have that ability, people won’t bully me because I’m a small…lady

The mutant power of Raven is really cool also. She could change herself to anyone in the world! She could be like…. me! hehe…

Azazel, he’s like a Jumper. He can jump to anywhere in the world… am I right? It’s quite cool as well.

Erik Lehnsherr (real name: Michael Fassbender), is really one strong, macho guy…after googling I found that he played a character in the movie “300″ (my fav too). The character is Stelios….. and he also played Azazeal in the Sky One Television series, HEX. HOT indeed. Charming eyes…

Well, I wish to have a special super power to sing very well, extremely well. I mean, out of this world!
- Wide vocal range… I mean, extremely wide… supersonic sound! huhuuu….
- Perfect pitch
- Male voice also can
- Long sustained voice…
- Voice that can communicate with any living thing…
- Singing voice that could move people to tears…
- Singing voice that could calm people…. or make people sleep…
….harmony voices in one
…etc…

Huh, crazy right?
Just thoughts, hehe….
